Eligibility
To use Linkar, you must: Be at least 16 years old. Be legally permitted to use the Platform under the laws of your home country.
Account Creation and Termination
To access certain features of Linkar, you may be required to create an account. You can delete your account at any time from the ‘Settings’ section. While your account will be deactivated immediately, some user-generated content may remain on our servers for a limited time as described in our Privacy Policy.
We reserve the right to suspend, terminate, or restrict your account without notice if: You breach these Terms or applicable laws. You post inappropriate, harmful, or misleading content. Your conduct is deemed to negatively impact other users or the integrity of the platform.
Types of Content
You may encounter three types of content on Linkar: Your Content: Anything you upload, such as reviews or profile details. User Content: Posts or contributions from other users, including reviews and media. Our Content: Platform assets, such as branding, images, and text created by Linkar.
Usage
General Use of the Platform
By using Linkar to create or engage with events, you agree to act responsibly, lawfully, and in good faith at all times. Use of the platform is subject to compliance with these terms and all applicable laws and regulations
For Event Creators and Hosts
You are solely responsible for the accuracy and legitimacy of all event details submitted, including time, location, capacity, and participation requirements. You confirm that you have the necessary permissions and rights to organise and host the event at the specified venue. Events must not contain false, misleading, harmful, unlawful, or discriminatory content. You are responsible for managing attendee interactions, including approvals, communication, and any risks associated with the event. Linkar provides a platform to facilitate visibility and discovery. It does not endorse or verify events and holds no responsibility for event execution, attendance, or related outcomes
For Attendees and Users
Requesting to Join Events: Submitting a request to attend an event does not guarantee acceptance. Final approval remains at the sole discretion of the event organiser. You are expected to participate respectfully, comply with any host instructions, and assume full responsibility for your behaviour and safety during the event. Linkar does not guarantee the quality, availability, or accuracy of any event. It is not liable for cancellations, alterations, personal injury, or any loss incurred as a result of attendance or attempted attendance. All communication and interaction with other users occurs at your own discretion and risk.
Liability and Platform Role
Linkar operates solely as a neutral intermediary, enabling users to discover and engage with community-led events. The platform does not vet, monitor, or assume responsibility for the actions of event hosts or participants. All liability rests with the relevant parties involved.
Prohibited Content
To maintain a safe and respectful environment, the following types of content are strictly prohibited: Discriminatory, offensive, or harassing material.Promotion of illegal activity, violence, or hate speech. Defamatory, false, or obscene content. Viruses, spyware, or any harmful code. Intellectual property violations. Spam, commercial solicitation, or misleading content. Impersonation or misrepresentation. Violations may result in immediate removal of content and/or suspension of your account.
Directory Listings and Reviews
The Platform is designed to help users discover high-quality real-world spaces and events. Users are encouraged to leave fair and honest reviews to support the community. Inappropriate, defamatory, or false reviews will be removed at our discretion.
User Conduct
You are expected to engage respectfully when commenting, reviewing, or submitting suggestions. All interactions must align with our values of community, trust, and respect for real-world engagement.
Privacy
Your use of Linkar is subject to our Privacy Policy, which outlines how we collect, use, and protect your personal data.
Safety and Responsibility
While Linkar lists and promotes spaces and events, we do not verify, manage, or assume responsibility for third-party venues or organisers. You are responsible for ensuring the suitability and safety of any space or event you choose to attend. Exercise judgment when interacting or attending an event. Report concerns using in-platfrom tools or by emailing us directly.
Linkar is not liable for harm, loss, or damages resulting from your attendance or interaction with any listing.
Push Notifications and Location Services
If enabled, we may send location-based updates and notifications relevant to your area and interests. You can manage notification settings in your device preferences.
Intellectual Property
All intellectual property on the Platform including images, branding, logos, and text is owned by Linkar or our licensors. You may not: Copy, reproduce, or distribute Linkar content without permission. Scrape or reverse-engineer any part of the Platform.
Limitation of Liability
The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the extent allowed by law, Linkar disclaims all warranties and is not liable for: Errors, delays, or interruptions. Issues related to third-party spaces or events. Any damage resulting from using the Platform or attending listed venues.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold Linkar harmless against any claims, damages, or losses arising from: Your use of the Platform. Your violation of these Terms. Any interactions you have with spaces, events, or third parties listed.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Major changes will be communicated via the Platform or email. Continued use of the Platform after updates implies acceptance of the revised Terms.
