Ordsall Park

Opened in 1876, Ordsall Park is a historic neighbourhood hub on Trafford Road. With bowling greens, a children’s playground, football pitches, and an outdoor gym, it’s a place where families mingle, local groups gather, and fitness buddies connect. Nature- and interpretation-learners stroll along the trail with braille plaques, while dog-walkers and neighbours use the picnic spaces to pause and chat. A strong Friends group adds seasonal events, strengthening community ties and welcoming all ages.
