Manchester Craft and Design Centre

Nestled in Manchester’s vibrant Northern Quarter, the Manchester Craft and Design Centre (MCDC) is a haven for lovers of handmade artistry and design. Housed in a beautifully restored Victorian fish and poultry market, the centre boasts two floors of open studios where visitors can observe and interact with over 20 independent makers specializing in textiles, ceramics, jewellery, and more. The welcoming atmosphere encourages spontaneous conversations, making it an ideal spot for both solitary reflection and social engagement. On site Fred's Cafe is a lovely place to grab a cuppa.
